The Wallabies return to Optus Stadium on Father’s Day, Sunday September 5, hoping to repeat their historic win of 2019, when they defeated the All Blacks in front of a record crowd for a sporting event at Optus Stadium.

West Australians have once again embraced the opportunity to see world-class sport, live in their home State, with only limited tickets available for the match.

Tourism WA Acting Managing Director Derryn Belford, said the agency had been responsible for the deal with Rugby Australia that brought the Bledisloe to WA for the first time in 2019 and were pleased to once again host the blockbuster event.

“Hosting marquee sporting events like the Bledisloe, helps put WA in a strong position for people’s future travel plans,” she said.

“The atmosphere and excitement of a packed house at Optus Stadium will not only thrill locals, it will add to the appeal for millions of viewers of this game, watching the broadcast nationally and in countries such as the United Kingdom, Japan and New Zealand.”
