Five new business events are coming to Perth following a recent $15 million funding boost to attract major events to the capital.
Business Events Perth secured the upcoming Perth-based conferences, which are expected to inject more than $13 million into the State’s economy.
The events include four large-scale medical conferences between 2022 and 2025 and a 1,600-delegate education conference in 2025.
It follows the Reconnect WA package announced in December which included a boost for Business Events Perth.
Since July 2020, Business Events Perth has secured 108 national and international events set to take place in WA from 2022 to 2029, representing $107 million in economic impact for the State.
Business Events Perth has been supported by Tourism WA for more than 20 years, to attract conferences, exhibitions, tradeshows, workshops and seminars to the State.
