We also work with our partners on affordable airfares to key tourism regional destinations, so that more people can travel to regional WA for a world-class holiday.
Our Affordable Airfares Program helps lower the cost of regional airfares throughout Western Australia so more visitors can explore our beautiful regional destinations. The 2024 program will see more than 35,600 discount fares available for travel between Perth and Exmouth, Broome and Kununurra, as well as a new route between Broome and Kununurra.
Airnorth offered discounted fares of $199 one-way between Broome and Kununurra, for travel between 1 May and 31 August 2024. A total of 2,440 discount fares were available on the route.
Nexus also offered discounted airfares of $199 one-way between Broome and Kununurra, for travel between 1 May and 31 August 2024. A total of 2,440 discount fares were available on the route.
Qantas is offering discounted airfares of $199 and $209 (dependent on date of travel) one-way between Perth and Exmouth, for travel between 1 May and 31 December 2024. A total of 10,480 discount fares will be available on this route.
Virgin Australia is offering discounted airfares of $219 one-way between Perth and Broome, available for travel until 24 November 2024 (excludes travel period between 24 June 2024 and 21 July 2024). A total of 13,020 discount fares will be available on this route.
Virgin Australia offered discounted airfares of $259 one-way between Perth and Kununurra, available for travel until 6 October 2024. A total of 7,296 discount fares were available on this route.
