Promoting our Dream State Internationally

Tourism WA markets Western Australia to the key international markets of the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, United States of America, India, Greater China and Japan. 

Our goal is to increase the number of international visitors to WA and encourage them to spend more, stay longer and travel further around the state. To do this, we create innovative marketing campaigns that build awareness of Western Australia as must-see destination in our key markets.   

We also work with our international partners on cooperative campaigns to directly engage with consumers, position WA competitively against other destinations and to drive bookings to Western Australia. 

Drive the Dream with Adam Gilchrist

In August 2024, we launched a bespoke extension of our global road trips platform, Drive the Dream, in India. The campaign features Australian cricket legend Adam Gilchrist and his son Harry, as they embark on day trip adventures from Perth to help drive international visitation to Western Australia from India.
