New Singapore to Broome seasonal flight takes off

Gantheaume Point, Broome

Visitors from Singapore and beyond will now be able to fly direct into Broome, following the launch of Jetstar Asia’s Singapore to Broome direct air service.

Supported by Tourism WA, the new seasonal flight took off today and will run twice weekly until 28 October 2024, reducing travel time between the two destinations by over eight hours.

Significantly, the new flight marks the first international route to fly directly into regional WA since our state’s borders reopened.

The direct service will also bring almost 6,500 inbound seats to Broome in its first year, providing a boost to the tourism sector in Australia’s North West.

The historic pearling town is a gateway to the rest of the Kimberley region, which offers rugged outback adventures and immersive wildlife experiences.

The new direct flight is supported by Tourism WA's $75 million Aviation Recovery Fund, in collaboration with Broome International Airport.
