The next phase of the Stay and Play marketing campaign launched this week, encouraging West Australians to use Perth’s exciting festival and events season as a reason to book a Perth hotel stay.

The campaign was developed by Tourism WA, together with Destination Perth.

More than 35 hotels are offering packages which can be booked from now until December 31, 2021, and can be redeemed until January 31, 2022.

The campaign highlights the exciting events on offer in the Destination Perth region, including performances by West Australian Symphony Orchestra, West Australian Opera, West Australian Ballet and Black Swan State Theatre Company.

Tourism WA Acting Managing Director Derryn Belford said the campaign would provide a boost to Perth accommodation operators while also supporting the local events industry.

“This next round of Stay and Play is showcasing the unique and varied hotel stays available across Perth, as well as the city’s exciting events calendar,” Ms Belford said.

“There are some great deals out there for people to take advantage of, so they can stay longer in the city and support local businesses while discovering an exciting new sporting, cultural, or arts event.”

Previous Stay and Play campaigns have generated more than 7,000 room nights for Perth hotels.
