Tourism Western Australia launched its major $3.5 million interstate marketing campaign dubbed the ‘Western Australia Dream Sale’ on 28 October 2024.
Carrying the tagline “dream a little more, for a little (or a lot) less”, the Dream Sale invited industry to take part in the domestic promotion and features a variety of compelling offerings for WA tourism businesses. The sale targets out-of-state Australians and invites them to visit WA by offering a curated selection of exclusive, high-value deals on experiences, pushing potential holidaymakers to book.
This tactical consumer campaign includes discounted airfares though a high-impact flight sale with Webjet, up to $100 off airfares into not only Perth, but also to all five of WA’s tourism regions. To further boost local tour and experience bookings, Tourism WA will be giving away $25,000 worth of ‘Dreamy Freebies’ to customers who book an experience through the sale and submit their booking details on westernaustralia.com for a chance to win their experience for free.
The sale is operating through a major cooperative partnership with Helloworld Travel, which will see the promotion appear on WA-themed store decals and digital screens in over 200 Helloworld retail outlets across Australia.
This marketing blitz represents a concentrated effort to attract visitors from our key eastern states markets to boost bookings and deliver longer-term certainty on visitor numbers in WA into the first half of 2025.
