Network 10’s The Project panel is set to broadcast live from Perth, with some of WA’s top tourism destinations also to feature in live crosses during the week-long broadcast.
Tourism WA is looking forward to Network 10 broadcasting The Project from the Botanic Garden in Kings Park from March 21 to 25.
The show will be hosted by Perth local Carrie Bickmore, Waleed Aly, Peter Helliar and Lisa Wilksinson, for what will be the first live outside broadcast of the panel since the start of the pandemic.
The show will also include live crosses with Rove McManus and Lisa Wilkinson from iconic tourism destinations across the State including Broome, Ningaloo Reef, the Margaret River Region, and Rottnest Island.
Tourism WA Managing Director Carolyn Turnbull said the show would highlight some of our top regional destinations and iconic tourism experiences across the State, helping to entice visitors back to WA.
“We’re thrilled the hugely popular The Project is wandering out yonder to Western Australia,” said Carolyn.
“The Project will broadcast to a national audience each weeknight and will provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase our beautiful state to the rest of the country.”
New ‘Wander out Yonder in WA’ TV commercials will be broadcast during The Project in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland for four weeks from March 21.
It is part of a $12 million marketing blitz encouraging interstate travellers to holiday in Western Australia.
The activity between now and July features a series of high impact initiatives including advertising across billboards, social media, newspapers, magazines, and television.
