We commissioned research company Kantar to survey more than 350 interstate, intrastate and international visitors to find out the appeal, types of people and activities undertaken at eight beaches - Cottesloe, Scarborough, Fremantle, City Beach, Hillarys, Rockingham, Trigg and Leighton.
The report also includes recommendations to help attract more people and deliver greater tourism benefits for the precincts.
